Biography

Growing up in New Hampshire, Joe Pack started out as a ski jumper but turned to aerials when he was 12, before earning an Eagle Scout award when he was a young teen. In 1996 he won the Junior World Championships in aerials, but missed out on making the 1998 Olympic team when he tore his ACL in pre-season training. However, he returned to win the US title in 1999 and 2001, adding bronze medals at the World Championships in both years. He won three World Cup events, the first in March 1995 in Lillehammer, and has had 12 podium finishes in World Cup events. Pack attended school at the University of Utah.
