Biography

Dmitry started athletics as a child in his hometown, with a preference for the long jump. At the suggestion of a coach in Voronezh, he took up bobsledding and joined the Russian national team as a pusher. At the World Championships, he won three silver medals and one bronze medal, but Styopushkin was twice European Champion.
