Biography

At the Pan American Games Carlos Cardet won gold (1979) and bronze (1975) in the road race. He also was a member of the silver medal winning road time trail teams in 1975 (with Gregorio Aldo Arencibia, José Prieto, and Roberto Menéndez) and 1979 (with Gregorio Aldo Arencibia and the non-Olympians Edilberto Rodríguez and Aníbal Torres).
