Luigi’s finest result was at the 1928 Olympics, when he won a gold medal in the 4,000 metres team pursuit with Cesare Facciani, Giacomo Gaioni and Mario Lusiani. He had a two-year professional career in 1931-32 with few significant results. Tasselli’s best results were in the 1930 and 1932 Milano-San Remo races, when he finished 65th and 63rd overall.
