Biography

Georgios Kalovelonis was a Greek professional tennis player who competed in the Davis Cup from 1978 to 1992 as a clay court specialist. Kalovelonis and American John Letts played in the first round of the doubles at the 1986 US Open but lost in straight sets. Two years later he competed in the singles and doubles at the 1988 Seoul Olympics but again lost each time in the opening rounds. Kalovelonis later went on to coach Anna Gerasimou and Vasilis Mazarakis.
