Biography

Kostas Nikolopoulos fenced at both the 1924 and 1928 Olympics. A lawyer, he later entered Greek politics and in December 1951 was elected mayor of Athina as an Independent, serving as mayor until February 1955. In sports administration Nikolopoulos served as vice-president of SEGAS and from 1936-38 was treasurer of EOA.
