Biography

Pan Bing was a Chinese professional tennis player who achieved a career-best singles ranking of #176 in the world in May 1995, and a doubles ranking of #261 in the world in February 1995. Pan played for China’s Davis Cup team from 1990 to 1997.

Pan won a gold in the singles and the team event at the 1990 Asian Games, along with a silver in the doubles. At the 1994 Asian Games he won another gold in the singles and a bronze in the doubles. Two years later he competed in the doubles at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics with Xia Jiaping but the pair lost in the first round.
