Biography

Claude N’Goran was an Ivorian professional tennis who achieved a career-best singles ranking of #200 in the world in August 1995, and a doubles ranking of #161 in the world in April 1996. N’Goran played on the Côte d’Ivoire’s Davis Cup team from 1990 to 2008 in 94 matches, the most capped Ivorian to date (through 2022).

N’Goran won four ATP Challenger doubles titles, with the first two coming in 1995 with American partner Francisco Montana. He won two more doubles titles in 1996, one with Gilles Bastié and the other with Juan Carlos Bianchi. At the 1996 Atlanta Olympics he played in the doubles with his brother Clément, with the pair reaching the second round.
