Peter Ennis coached the Canadian women’s basketball team at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, sadly dying only a few months later. Ennis was a longtime coach of the Laurentian University women’s team (1980-96), leading them to national collegiate titles in 1990 and 1991. He was named Canada Interuniversity Athletic Union (CIAU) coach of the year in 1987 and 1991.
