Baldomaro Rubiera had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1951 Pan American Games team (with Raimundo Rey, Francisco Cascante, Roberto Villacián, Fernando Lecuona, Angel Aguiar, Rafael Lecuona, and the non-Olympian José A. Vázquez), 2nd in the 1955 Pan American Games team (with Rafael Lecuona, Francisco Cascante, Roberto Villacián, and the non-Olympians Luis Santana and Ángel Franco).
