Biography

Brian Olson was a judoka who competed at four Olympic Games for the USA, consecutively from 1996-2008. Olson won one bronze medal at the 1997 World Championships and three medals, including two golds, at the Pan American Games from 1995-2003. At the Pan American Championships, Olson won seven medals, with golds in 1998 and 2001, silvers in 1996-97, 2002, and 2004, and a bronze in 2003. In all, he won 13 gold medals and had 18 podiums in international competition. Olson was a five-time US senior champion, with eight podium finishes.

Olson later opened a series of fitness centers, Anytime Fitness, in Texas, where he coached in addition to managing the centers. He coached judo, jujitsu, wrestling, bootcamp training, MMA and boxing.
