Biography

Manfred Misselhorn rowed in 1964 with the coxless fours and won the West German and European titles. The boat then competed at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, where the crew was one of the favorites, but they finished a disappointing sixth. Two years earlier Misselhorn rowed double sculls alongside non-Olympian Helmut Schulz and ascended the West German podium in third. One year later he came in second with his new partner Albrecht Müller. By profession, Misselhorn was a civil engineer working and living in Wiesbaden.
