Biography

Rower Stefan Scholz was a member of the German coxless fours at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics that placed a disappointing ninth. In 1993, he was World Champion with the eights, while in 1991 he won silver with the coxed fours and bronze with the coxless fours. Domestically, Scholz won 10 national titles: with the coxless fours in 1991, 1995, and 1996; with the coxed fours in 1985; and with the eights in 1984-87 and 1993-94.
