Biography
Andrew Larkin rowed the 6th seat for the US eight from 1966-68. He competed at the 1966 World Championships, won a silver medal at the 1967 Europeans and a gold medal in 1967 at the Pan American Games, and then rowed at the 1968 Olympics. Larkin had started rowing at the Taft School, where he also ran cross-country.
He later attended Harvard, graduating in 1968, and then attended Harvard Medical School, graduating in 1972, and became a physician specializing in internal medicine. Larkin practiced medicine in Amherst, Massachusetts. In his spare time he also coached the Yankee Rowing Club across the border in Vermont.
