Biography

Daphne Wilkinson had the following podium finishes at major championships: 3rd in the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 4×110 yards Freestyle Relay (with Fearne Ewart, Jean Botham, and the non-Olympian Valerie Nares-Pillow). In the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 440 yards freestyle Wilkinson was eliminated in the heats. In the British Empire and Commonwealth Games she competed for England.
