Biography

Dietmar Göhring was a backstroke swimmer who was eliminated in the semi-finals of the 100 metres and in the heats of the 200 metres at the 1980 Moskva Olympics. Also, with the East German 4x100 medley relay squad he finished an unfortunate fourth. In 1979 and 1980, Göhring won the East German national title in the 100 metres.
