Biography

German diver Ewald Riebschläger won the springboard events at the 1927 and 1931 European Championships. He also finished second in the platform in 1927 and third in both 1931 and 1934. At the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics he finished sixth in the springboard and fifth in the platform events. Riebschläger won National springboard titles in 1928 and 1930, and platform titles from 1931-33. In addition he won three National springboard silver medals in 1927, 1929 and 1931, and six platform silvers 1926-30 and 1934. By profession, he was a self-employed electrical installer.
