Biography

Tino Weber was a German backstroke swimmer who competed at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. He reached the 200 metres final and finished sixth, and over 100 metres was 11th. With the 4x100 IM relay the finished an unfortunate fourth, just 0.13 seconds behind Canada.

Domestically, Weber won national 100 and 200 titles every year from 1992-94 and won his seventh title, over 100 metres, in 1995. At European Championships, Weber won the 200 metres backstroke bronze medal in 1989, and at the Short Course Europeans he captured silver over 50 metres. By profession, Weber became a freelance wealth advisor at Leipzig.
