Biography

Stefan Wenz was a West German freestyle swimmer who specialized in the long-distance events at the Olympic Games. In 1976 at Montréal he competed in the 400 and 1,500 metre events, but was eliminated in the heats of both. The following year he won his only West German national title, the 1,500 metres freestyle.
