Biography

Rick Earley was from Fresno, California but attended Indiana University. He had his best year in 1971 when he won a gold medal in the 1971 Pan American Games on platform. It was a bit of an upset as he had been third on platform at the AAU outdoors and fourth indoors. Earley won the 1972 AAU title on platform and then finished sixth at the Olympics. He later became a diving coach at Southern Cal and with the Mission Viejo Nadadores.
