Biography

Henry swam the 100 backstroke at the 1924 Paris Olympics, but did not advance past the first round. Luning was a native of Hawai’i who swam for the Hui Makani Swim Club. He worked as a police officer. Luning was inducted into the Hawai’i Swimming Hall of Fame.
