Biography

Marquard Schwarz was a member of the Missouri AC. After winning a bronze medal in the relay in 1904, he competed again at the 1906 Olympics. In Athens he was a member of the team which placed fourth in the relay and he also competed in the 100m freestyle. A native of St. Louis, Schwarz attended Yale University before settling in California.
