Biography

German volleyball player Christina Schultz was on the squad that placed eighth at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. She also participated in the Olympic tournament at Sydney in 2000 and placed sixth. In total, she won 237 international caps.

At club level, Schultz played in Germany with Post SV Güstrow (1980-83), Schweriner SC (1983-95 and 1999-2002), and USC Münster (1995-97). She also played in Italy with Romanelli Fiorenze (1997-98), and in Turkey with Vakifbank Ankara (1998-99). In 1995, and 2000-02 she helped Schwerin win four German national titles, and 1996 and 1997 she did the same with Münster. She also won the German cup three times in 1996-97 and 2002.
