Biography

Hitter Lyudmila Gureyeva started to play volleyball with Burevestnik Odesa in 1960 and from 1964-78 played with CSKA Moskva. With Burevestnik, Gureyeva won the Soviet title and CEV Champions Cup in 1961 and with CSKA she won Soviet titles in 1965-69 and 1974, CEV Champions Cups in 1966-67, and the 1972 Soviet Cup. Gureyeva was on the Soviet national team from 1964-65 and won Olympic silver in 1964 and the Universiade title in 1965.
