Biography

Teee Sanders-Williams, whose mother definitely bought too many vowels when she was born, played college volleyball for the University of Hawai’i. She played for the USA from 1990-96, including at the 1992 and 1996 Olympics. Sanders-Williams won golds with the US team at the 1995 Canada Cup and World Grand Prix, a silver at the 1995 Pan American Games, and bronzes at the 1990 World Championships, the 1992 Olympics, and the 1992 FIVB Super Four. She played professional volleyball in the 1990s in Germany, winning the national indoor title with USC Münster, and in 2003 won the German beach volleyball title alongside Ines Pianka.
