Biography
A two-time water polo Olympian, Dejan Dabović’s greatest achievement was winning gold at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. He also won a gold medal at the 1971 Mediterranean Games and added a silver at that tournament in 1975. Dabović earned 110 caps for Yugoslavia and scored 53 international goals. He played for Jadran until 1968 when he moved to Partizan in Beograd. He won titles with them in 1968-70 but moved to Primorje and then finished his career with Solaris. Dabović later worked as a coach for several clubs in Yugoslavia and Italy.
