Biography

Phil Caira had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games Light-Heavyweight (875 pounds), 1st in the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games Light-Heavyweight (900 pounds). In the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games light-heavyweight class he finished fifth and in the 1970 British Commonwealth Games light-heavyweight class he finished tenth. In the 1966 British Empire and Commonwealth Games he failed to set a press result in light-heavyweight class. In all British Empire and Commonwealth Games he competed for Scotland.
