Biography

Mohamed Reza Navaie was a wrestler who competed in freestyle at the 1976 Montréal Olympics. Navaie also won two bronze medals at the 1973 and 1978 World Championships. He later became a coach, leading the Iranian team at the 1988 Olympics and serving as an assistant coach in 1992. He also coached Indonesia at the 1978 World Championships and then became the head Iranian national coach at the 1990-91 and 1993-94 World Championships.
