Sreten Dragojlović played for the Yugoslav national team from 1957-67, earning 49 international caps. Dragojlović won a gold medal at the 1959 Mediterranean Games and a silver medal at the 1961 European Championships (EuroBasket), in addition to his 1960 Olympic appearance. He played most of his career with KK Crvena Zvezda (Red Star).
After retiring, Dragojlović became the coach of the Crvena Zvezda women’s team. He was President of the women’s basketball commission for Yugoslavia and President of the club technical commission. He lost his life in a traffic accident near Gornji Milanovac on September 2, 1971, when he was rushing to visit his sick father.
