Biography

Yaşar Yılmaz was Turkish champion in Greco-Roman in 1950 and 1953. He competed in over 150 international matches for Turkey, highlighted by silver medals that he won at the 1955, 1958, and 1961 World Championships. Yılmaz also competed several other times at the World Championships and was Balkan Champion in 1957 and 1958.
