Biography

Jimmy Jackson wrestled at Oklahoma State where he won three NCAA heavyweight titles, in a career that saw him post an 88-9-2 record, with 44 wins by fall. He also won three Big Eight titles and was a three-time World Cup Champion. Jackson won a gold medal at the 1979 Pan American Games in super-heavyweight freestyle. He was inducted into the Oklahoma State Hall of Honor in 2007, but he died fairly young, less than one year later, from diabetes and congestive heart failure.
