Biography

Julius Clementz played as a goalkeeper for the club Mercantile in Kristiania. He had his début for the national team in 1910 in a friendly against Sweden. He won his second and last cap in another match against Sweden in 1911 in which he saved a penalty kick. At the 1912 Olympic Games he was an unused reserve goalkeeper.

Clementz worked as a clerk and later as sales representative for a hats and men’s equipment store. He had one son and one daughter with his wife Marit Andrea (née Sagen).
