Biography

Klaus Gerbig was eliminated in the quarter finals of the 110 high hurdles at Rome in the 1960 Olympics. He was a specialist in the 200 metre low hurdles, a non-Olympic event, winning the German title in 1961 and 1962. He took part in five international matches. In 1985 Gerbig received the Silver Needle of the German Track and Field Association.

Personal Best: 110H – 14.2 (1960).
