Biography

Carsten Köhrbrück, a 400 hurdler, was eliminated in the semifinals of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. He took part in the 1991 World Championships and the 1990 European (silver medal with the 4x400 relay), and also the 1989 European Cup (runner-up with the relay). Domestically he was German Indoor Champion in 1989 and 1990, also winning with the indoor relay in 1995, and winning outdoors in 1990.

After his active career Köhrbrück became a coach and trainer in Berlin, where he trained nationally successful 400 sprinters and hurdlers. He was a team leader for the Berlin Athletics Association several years.

Personal Best: 400H – 48.89 (1990).
