Biography

Basketball player Armin Sowa represented West Germany at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, finishing eighth. In total, he won over 100 international caps. Domestically, he played with ASC Göttingen (until 1985), Steiner Bayreuth (1985-88) and TTL Bamberg. In 1983 and 1984 he won the national title with Göttingen, and the German cup in 1984 and 1985. Sowa then studied economics and became a hotel manager in Hannover.
