Biography

Grzegorz Skrzecz was a Polish heavyweight boxer and actor. Skrzecz had 236 fights during his career, with victory in 204 of them. Skrzecz was a five-time Polish champion from 1979 to 1984. At the 1982 World Amateur Championships he won the bronze medal, with another bronze the following year at the European Amateur Championships. Skrzecz boxed for Poland at the 1980 Moskva Olympics where he lost in the quarter-finals to the eventual gold medallist Teófilo Stevenson. Skrzecz also had a small career as an actor, including appearances in five films directed by Olaf Lubaszenko.
