Biography

Ioanna Tissamenou played only singles at the 1906 Athina Olympics, losing in the first round by love and 1 to her countrywoman Sofia Marinou. Along with Marinou, Tissamenou was the first woman to compete for Greece at the Olympic Games. Nothing else is known of her life.
