Biography

Lisa-Marie Allen was a singles skater, who was runner-up at the US Championships in 1978-80, and placed third in 1981. She competed in three World Championships, finishing seventh in 1978 and 1980 and sixth in 1979. Allen then skated professionally, winning the World Professional Championship in 1990 and in 1997 she was the American Open Professional Champion. She then worked in skating choreography, helping with the movie “Blades of Glory,” and with the opening and closing ceremonies for the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.
