Biography

JoJo Starbuck skated pairs with Ken Shelley. The pair placed third at the 1968 US Championships, which qualified them for the 1968 Winter Olympics, and the World Championships, where they finished 11th. In 1969 they moved up to second at the US Championships, but they won the title in 1970, 1971, and 1972. At the Worlds, Starbuck and Shelley won bronze medals in 1971 and 1972. Starbuck later skated professionally in ice shows and had a small career as an actress, performing in New York Stories (1989), The Cutting Edge (1992), and Beauty and the Beast: A Concert on Ice (1996). Starbuck later coached and choreographed skaters and has more recently served as the artistic director of the Ice Capades. From 1975-83, Starbuck was married to NFL quarterback Terry Bradshaw.
