Biography

Hanna Walter was an Austrian figure skater who placed seventh at the 1956 Cortina d’Ampezzo Winter Olympics in the women’s singles. At World Championships she won a bronze medal in 1958 and a silver in 1959. At the Europeans she added medals of each colour: gold in 1959, silver in 1958, and bronze in 1957.

Domestically, Walter won the national title in 1959. After her active career, she skated in professional ice shows.
