Biography

Sylvia White skated for the Montana Skating Association and later attended Montana Tech. She is considered the first native of Butte, Montana to make an Olympic team. White was US Intermediate Champ in 1960-61-62, and won the 1962 Northwest Championships.

Personal Bests: 500 – 47.6 (1964); 1000 – 1:37.2 (1964); 1500 – 2:39.0 (1972); 3000 – 5:32.4 (1964).
