Biography

Hartmut Döpp was a cross-country skier who finished seventh with the 4x10 km relay at the 1972 Sapporo Winter Games. His best individual finish was 32nd in the 15 km. In 1970 and 1972 he won the West German title at 50 km. Döpp later became chief national Nordic combined coach, and later assistant cross-country coach with Jochen Behle. He also owned several holiday pension flats in his hometown of Winterberg.
