Biography
Long-distance cross-country skier Egon Fleischmann from Oberhof in East Germany finished 28th in the 50 km event at the 1960 Squaw Valley Winter Games. He won his only national title with the relay of his home club ASK Vorwärts Oberhof in 1958. Fleischmann later coached cross-country skiing in Oberhof and Steinbach-Hallenberg.
