Biography

Lars Funke, a German speed skater, finished 28th both over 500 and 1,000 metres at the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Games. The same year he was German champion in the sprint all-around. Like many other German sportspeople of those times, he started his career in East Germany with ESC Erfurt.

Personal Bests: 500 – 37.08 (1992); 1000 – 1:13.71 (1994); 1500 – 1:56.60 (1991); 5000 – 7:21.91 (1991).
