Biography

Peter Hell was a West German bob pilot, finishing seventh with the four-man bob together with Heinz Busche, Hans Wagner and Walter Barfuß at the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Games. He also placed eighth with Busche in the two-man event. In 1977, Hell won his only domestic title in the four-man bob. After his active career, he worked as a coach and television commentator in bobsleigh. He later worked in the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association as coordinator for the European Cup competitions in the field of bobsleigh.
