Biography

Jaroslav Korbela was a forward who played his entire club career in the Czechoslovakian League, mostly with Motor České Budějovice from 1976-78, and 1980-88. He also spent two seasons with Dukla Trenčín from 1978-80. He first competed internationally for Czechoslovakia at the 1977 World Junior Championships, winning a bronze medal. He won a silver medal at the 1984 Olympic Winter Games and also played at the 1981 and 1984 Canada Cup. Korbela competed at two World Championships, winning a silver medal in 1982 and a bronze medal in 1981.
