Biography

Long-distance cross-country skier Sepp Maier from Hinterzarten in West Germany finished 26th in the 30 km event at the 1960 Squaw Valley Winter Games. In 1961 he claimed his only individual national title in the 50 km event. With Skiclub Hinterzarten he earned two more relay titles. Maier often trained with his teammates Georg Thoma and Siegfried Hug.
