Biography

Larry Probst was an American businessman who served as CEO of Electronic Arts (EA), a video game publisher, from 1991-2007 and was then chairman of EA from 2013-14. Probst graduated from the University of Delaware and his business career started with Johnson & Johnson and then Clorox before entering the video game industry in 1982 with Activision. He joined EA in 1984 as a vice-president.

Probst was named board chair of the US Olympic Committee (USOC) in 2008. In 2013 he was co-opted onto the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in his role with the USOC. Probst stepped down from his chair on the USOC in 2018 and then left the IOC. During his time on the IOC he served on the International Relations Commission, the Press Commission, and the Radio and Television Commission.
