Biography

Allison Weston was a volleyballer who played for the USA at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. She was on the US team from 1997-2000. Weston played for the University of Nebraska, graduating in 1996. In 1994 and 1995 she was the Big-8 Conference Player of the Year, and in 1996 she was won the Honda Sports Award as the top collegiate female volleyball player. She played professionally in Italy in 2001.

Weston later coached at the University of Montana. She also became an emergency medical technician in Missoula, Montana. Weston was inducted into the Nebraska High School Sports Hall of Fame in 2007 and was the first volleyball athlete in the University of Nebraska Athletics Hall of Fame.
