Biography

West German cross-country skier Wolfgang Müller finished fourth with the men’s 4x10 km relay at the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Games. Individually, he came in 21st over 15 km, and 37th in the 30 km event. During his career he also participated in cross-country and mountain running. In 1977, he won the West German national title cross-country ski title over 50 km and in 1980, 1987 and 1988 with the relay. By profession, Müller was a policeman and became coach at the Federal Police School at Bad Endorf.
